Taming the E-mail Beast: Part 1
In Part 1, Randy will be focusing on the “process-specific” aspects of daily e-mail management:

• How you can manage, prioritize, and simply “keep up” with your daily flow of e-mail
• Prioritization of related tasks, calendar items, contacts, and deliverables that rise from those e-mails

Randy will include a few specific demonstrations in the most popular corporate e-mail tool, Microsoft Outlook. Randy will also discuss:

• Junk/span mitigation strategies
• Handling “quick little” e-mails
• Identifying longer-frame priorities
• Reducing the distracting nature of e-mail-based interruptions

Taming the E-mail Beast: Part 2
In Part 2 of this program, Randy will:

• Discuss the communication-specific strategies that will reduce confusion, enhance communication, and help better deal with “Carbon Copies, Forwards, and Replies!”
• Discuss utilizing searching and sorting capabilities specific to Microsoft Outlook (but common in many e-mail software tools), so that you can be more confident moving items from your inbox (thus helping you to approach e-mail ZERO)
• Share strategies on how to automate several normal e-mail activities to help save time
• Define process on how to regain control of an “out-of-control” inbox
