Do elves bleed green?

Is that elf blood?
This is an exciting time of year — people bustling about getting ready for (or already celebrating) the holidays. I especially love the wonderful impetus that this time of year tends to give people. You see people making resolutions, reconnecting with friends and family, giving to those who are less fortunate and creating wonderful things for decoration or as gifts.
At Copper Conferencing, we like to do things that make working more entertaining. Sometimes it’s a lunch in for the entire office and sometimes we have a bit of fun. The folks in our Atlanta office are celebrating the 12 days of Christmas in a fun and particularly festive fashion. Each day they are doing something fun for the entire office from a cookie exchange to most outlandish Christmas attire (think obnoxious holiday sweater). Today’s activity was to create a stocking. Each employee was given a stocking form and the office provided lots of items for decorating the stockings – paint, glitter, sequins and all manner of other craft items.
Now, I’m not sure when the last time you picked up a bottle of glue was or if you’ve recently done any craft creations using fabric, glitter and paint, but someone in the office had a bit of trouble.

Jacket of Walter the Green

Pants painted by Walter
He managed to get covered in green paint — pants, jacket — even on his face! It was so comical that the bit of green paint low on the door frame prompted several to wonder if there was an elf in distress — gashed from some misguided stocking event.
But no, it was our own Walter Green. Yes, seriously, his last name is Green.
Thanks Walter for making our day just a little bit more fun!
