Conferencing Tip: Web Conferencing is Ideal for Employee Training

One favorite trick that I recommend to my customers is to use Web Visuals for internal employee training sessions.  Training employees can be very time consuming – not to mention tracking the training of employees.  Web Visuals makes it easy to train and track.  New Hire training no longer requires a dedicated HR rep trying to schedule training for every single employee.

Training sessions can be conducted live in Web Visuals or can easily be pre-recorded for later use.  So, Human Resources departments can record an audio or web conference during a live training session or record the session in advance and then post or email a link so that employees who missed the training session can still benefit from the training.  HR reps can easily see which employees have completed training by pulling reports that show who has watched each recording.

Links to recorded training sessions should be included with the new employee’s first ‘welcome’ email from the company or as part of the New Employee training packet.  Companies that require certain internal trainings for ‘certification’ can also use Web Visuals in the same way for existing employees.

Obviously, Web Visuals can be used at the departmental level as well as the corporate level.   It’s a great way to ensure that employees (or investors) get the information they need.
