Conferencing Tip: Record your conference call

One of the easiest features to use on a conference call is the recording feature. And, it’s one of the best on demand audio conferencing features, in my opinion, because it allows you to capture not only what was said but how it was said.

Recording a conference call also allows you to share the call with participants who may have missed the call. Recording is a great way to archive quarterly investor relations calls, project review calls or other informational or sensitive conference calls.

When you use Copper Conferencing’s On Demand audio conferencing, recording is easy.

Once all your participants are on the conference call:
1. Let them know you’ll be recording the call.
2. Then, press *2 to activate the call recording feature.
3. When you’re ready, press 1 to begin recording.
4. You will hear the enunciator confirm that your call is being recorded.
5. Begin speaking

After the conference call is complete:
1. You will receive a ‘recorded playback’ email with instructions on how to listen to the recording.
2. Simple phone commands empower the listener to pause the playback, rewind, fast forward and increase the volume.
